Golfzone project started two years ago while a weekend Aussie golfers Rod AKA SmogHay realized that he couldn't find any golf related website here in Indonesia to help him being able to record his round score played in any golf courses. He then discussed this to me as a weekend website developer whether is it possible to build one. "You can quit from your current job and work for me to build this golf community site", Rod said that day. So here it is, the Indonesia's 1st and only golf community site for you.

Even this site is currently still in Beta level (still being under continous development) but we think we had succed to reach our initial target - to get 1000+ members in almost one and half years. Thanks to all Golfzoners.

Why co.id?

I my self keep asking why we choose the co.id as our Golfzone domain name, why not choose the dot com? The main reason is that Golfzone.com name is already taken by the time SmogHay got that domain name idea. 2nd, he already felt in love with the name. I couldn't argue with him anymore even personally I don't like this dot co dot id name because we're not a company site, we're a free service provider site.

So here we are, we're just a two - three persons running this featured golf site from our small office in south jakarta hoping that we could help golf community here in Indonesia to get connected and grow together.
