 After a few weeks away from their home course, SmoG members turned up in full force for this mornings match at Matoa (biggest turn out for 2008 - 27 players). As usual SmoG Ryan should be commended for pulling himself away from the bowls of the Jakarta dark night life scene and almost getting to the Tee box on time.   A few other SMoGGers who have failed to turn up in recent weeks after a few lights beers should take note of the younger generations dedication..

 SMoG Merdeka Shield

  Last Sunday - the SMoG golf group broke tradition and held our weekly match on Sunday and not Saturday.   We normally play at Matoa each Saturday morning however due to the Matoa monthly medal we needed to look elsewhere.  Jakarta Royale was suggested however we knew that there was no way 30 expats would get a start on Saturday morning so Sunday it was.
