Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open 2008 akan kembali digelar pada tanggal 11-18 Februari 2008. Seperti tahun lalu, turnamen bergengsi ini kembali diadakan di Klub Golf Cengkareng. Turnamen ini merupakan hasil kerjasama European Tour dan Asian Tour.
Event ini juga merupakan salah satu sarana promosi visit Indonesia 2008 dan juga promosi Jakarta. Pada tanggal 29 Januari 2008, pihak penyelenggara dan pihak sponsor Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open, mengadakan konferensi pers di hotel Sheraton Jakarta untuk mengumumkan nama-nama pegolf terkemuka yang akan berkompetisi untuk memperebutkan hadiah uang total senilai US$1,2 juta.

With the 1.2 million dollar Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesia Open 2008 ready to start on 14 of February, Cengkareng Management is praying for sunshine while they put the final touches on the course. Once again Cengkareng has proved itself to be a world class venue and has been selected as the host course for this year. For the residents of Jakarta, Cengkareng is most famous for its beautiful caddies and exceptional service; however there are many other reasons why the course is one of Indonesia’s most popular golf locations. As we approach the final days before the open, I noticed that the course is in immaculate condition. Pagunsan Claims Maiden Triump At Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational 2007. The 29-year-old champion broke into tears when he produced his breakthrough win at the Damai Indah Golf - BSD Course as he walked away with the winner's cheque of US$55,475. He blasted a final round of seven-under-par 65 for a winning total of 19-under-par 269 at the Jack Nicklaus-designed course. With the win, Pagunsan leaped up to 33rd position on the Asian Tour's UBS Order of Merit with total earnings of US$92,027.
