The biggest mistake usually made by people who want to start in golf is that they rush out and buy a new set of golf equipment and join expensive golf clubs. Now I understand that you are trying to sell equipments here. I would think all new beginner should not buy any equipments at all. Most then 99 % of newcomer picking up this game of golf is because some body ie friend, buddy, related family, girl friend, boy friend .. etc and I am very sure all these people have extra set of golf club for you to use until you think you are ready to purchase your own set.

No one will laugh when you make bad shot. It's not about shiny expensive or cheap equipment.

It's about getting the right equipment for your golf skills. Don't ever pick up a Forged iron with steel shaft if you are still a beginner.....
