It's About Your Posture and Eyes

Rating 1.0/5 (1 vote)

Here are two tips that could help you on your next round.

Is your posture correct?

No, I'm not talking about your teacher yelling "Sit up straight" in class but it's not all that different.
The posture I'm talking about will help you turn around your spine.
If you hunch over at set up you run the risk of straightening up as you bring your club back.
Too many moving parts.
Keep your spine flat. Keep your back flat. Have someone watch you at set up.
Then turn around that spine. Your good posture will help your shoulder turn.
You will look good.
How can you argue with that?  "Keep your back straight"

Square your eyes

Are your eyes leading you astray? Perhaps yes.
Next time you make a full swing. Stop at the top of your swing and check to ensure your eyes are parallel to the ground.
The best way to check. If you hat brim is pointing straight down to the ground, you're in good shape.

If you are looking sideways at the ground to let your shoulder get around you can throw off your aim and balance.
Take a look (or have a friend tell you) where your head is at the top of the your swing.

Now. Go out there, set up squarely, and drive it a mile!
