Ria Bintan Golf Club was built in October 1998. It was designed by Garry Player (27 holes). Ria Bintan become the best golf course in Asia voted by Asian Golf Monthly for 4 concutive years and the most beautiful & playable courses in the world. The most difficult hole is hole 1 because there are so many bunker. This course also have carts for the players. Ria Bintan has approximately 120 caddies and all ladies (one caddy for two golfers).

Set in 60 hectares of a tropical Eden, it lets nature define the course winding through the diverse terrains of forestlands, natural wetlands, beachfront coconut groves and an abandoned quarry. The greens can be treacherous at times - practice your putting skills beforehand if you want to score on par.
